In 2018 and into 2019 John and Alyssa will be working on a series of singles called (Pittsburgh Recording). Two of these tracks are on the Take Me Down EP and others will be released as individual singles. These songs are recorded with simplicity in their backroom studio using a couple microphones and the bare minimum of equipment. The ambience of a home in the city of Pittsburgh is felt in these earthy and natural recordings. Friends play a role in these songs as they come over to hang out, have a drink and lay down one track at a time. Outside the big glass doors of the backroom is the Creasy's permaculture garden, song birds are always around, making their appearance here an there in the recordings. Who knows how many songs we'll record like this, one at a time, Twists and Turns is the first!
